My Role: Leading Embedded Linux Development and Fostering Team Growth I lead a team of five embedded Linux developers, overseeing all aspects of their professional journey. My core philosophy is rooted in empathy and people-first leadership. I believe that when team members feel valued, supported, and happy, their productivity and efficiency naturally thrive. My responsibilities include- People Management: I conduct performance management including salary reviews, facilitate personal and professional growth, and address any challenges my team members face, doing my best to ensure they have the best possible environment to excel in- Technical Leadership & Development: Beyond daily development tasks, I'm dedicated to the continuous technical growth of my team. I identify and recommend relevant courses and activities to expand their skill sets and keep us at the forefront of the embedded Linux world- System Architecture & Design: I also act as a system engineer, defining the high-level architecture and design for new products and systems, ensuring robust and effective solutions. Essentially, I bridge the gap between technical expertise and human potential, with the aim of building a cohesive, highly skilled and motivated team.
