I currently instruct in Child Passenger Safety, role play for scenarios in mental health and law enforcement scenarios, speak on Law Enforcement Mental Health, Child Passenger Safety and Laws That Affect It, and How to Stay Motivated in the Chaos. I medically retired from Colorado Springs Police Department in 2012 after 13 years in Law Enforcement. While I can no longer run like the wind and leap tall buildings the skills I learned are still an integral part of me. Certified Child Passenger Safety Instructor with Safe Kids Worldwide. I am active in the field, teaching parents how to keep their children safe when traveling. I continue to stay educated in the mental health field and hold a CIT certification. I am detail oriented and have an investigative mindset. I performed investigation duties for Registered Sex Offenders, Property Crimes, and did a TDY in Financial Crimes. I played a large role in the set up and start up of online reporting for Colorado Springs Police Department and help restructure and develop new policies for Registered Sex Offender tracking in 2005.
