About Corrie Smith

My name is Corrie Smith and I am a mom of four beautiful kids. I have an Associate in Applied Science in Electrical Power Technology and Design with an emphasis in Civil Design. I am currently a Lead Designer who specializes in system protection. I have worked in the utility industry for 10 years and worked as a Electrical Designer for the past 8 years. I have knowledge in substation exit circuits, large commercial design, subdivision design and line replacement/upgrades. I also enjoy working with residential consumers on their power needs, weather it be a new service or an upgrade to their existing service. I am also knowledgeable in land rights and permitting. I am able to perform fieldwork necessary to gather field data, tie-in information, analyze existing electrical infrastructure and provide construction support. I have designed accurate and precise electrical system, designs complying with recognized drafting standards, company practices, policies and procedures. I am very knowledgeable with the NESC standards and up to date on code changes. I have been very successful in managing all projects within expected completion times.
