About Corrine Binks

I am committed to my personal and professional development by way of ensuring that any course or task I undertake, I complete to the best of my ability. I have completed the BTEC HNC Civil Engineering, all modules to Distinction level and I have also completed the HND Civil Engineering, all modules again to Distinction level. I completed the BSc Civil Engineering degree at Leeds Beckett University in June 2015 and gained First Class Honours. I have been working more within the commercial aspects of projects rather than technical as that is where my strengths lie and am open to gaining further commercial qualifications going forward. I received a Special Recognition award at the ICE Gala Dinner Awards in March 2015 due to the work I do as a STEM Ambassador, promoting the industry to young people. I am also a Technician Member if the Institution of Civil Engineers following my successful application and interview process. Following my diagnosis and recovery from Breast Cancer during the pandemic I am passionate about raising awareness not just for Breast Cancer but for any health condition. I am committed to promoting positive mental health and wellbeing awareness in all situations after my own positive attitude towards my successful recovery.
