Currently Technology Accessibility Coordinator working to create an inclusive learning and work environment which explicitly includes persons with disabilities. I actively work to bring our organization away from a model of reactive accommodation and towards a model of proactive inclusion by creating policies and practical workflows that keep accessibility in mind. As a driver of institutional change, I manage multiple project to help us reach WCAG 2.1 compliance of all electronic information technology (EIT). EIT includes websites, software procurement, documents and other digital communications. Prior experience as a web content developer with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry has been particularly useful in the understanding 3rd party software. I am also skilled in guiding organizational change, bringing disparate groups together for common cause, and project management.
