Corrinne McLeish is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 19 years’ experience of the construction industry working with contractors, consultancies and quantum expert services. She has gained extensive experience in all aspects of commercial and contract management, which includes internal and external reporting of progress against contract, preparation of fully substantiated interim and final account submissions, reporting of site delays incurred, procurement of subcontractors and valuation of variations. Her knowledge extends across several sectors including housebuilding, civil engineering and rail. Corrinne has been instructed as an independent expert in the field of quantum, and has assisted the lead quantum expert on more than 20 quantum-related appointments as lead quantum expert assistant, on a variety of disputes as part of adjudication and/or mediation proceedings. These disputes have included the likes of disruption and prolongation, defects and remedial works and assessment of compensation events for NEC3 contracts. She has also supported in a long term advisory capacity for a major NHS hospital, and provided assistance with various claim settlements achieved on behalf of the client.
