About Corryn Defazio

I am presently employed as an Agent and plan to ultimately become a Detective. I am a Licensed Associate Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am ardently interested in integrating trauma informed clinical mental health into law enforcement. I have received certificates of educational training in identifying and preventing domestic minor sex trafficking, preventing child sexual exploitation, treating survivors of trauma, and the Columbia-Suicide Severity Rating Scale. I have experience working with a plethora of mental health disorders, behavioral disorders, as well as gang and drug prevention work with at-risk youth. I am certified in both Youth and Adult Mental Health First Aid. Child and mental health advocate.
