Background
About Cortney Kressin
I am passionate about strengthening communities, volunteering, and empowering individuals to advocate for themselves. I enjoy building connections with those I support, and learning right along with them. As a social worker, I strive to keep the values established by the National Association of Social Workers including service, social justice, integrity, competence, and more. I believe people with disabilities should be treated with dignity and respect, and should have the same opportunities as all people. I do not believe this is a reality yet. Therefore, several of my career goals relate to working toward improving the inequalities people with disabilities experience.
