About Cortney Mabry

Hello! I’m Cortney Mabry (she/her), a grants and communications professional dedicated to advancing equity in access to health care, housing, food, and other essential needs. In my role as Grants and Communications Manager at Brent’s Place, I manage foundation partnerships, write and report on grants, and coordinate communications projects that strengthen our mission to support families facing medical crises. My work combines relationship management, clear writing, and thoughtful storytelling to secure resources and share impact. With a background in sociology and communication, I’m motivated by opportunities to connect with others, reduce barriers to essential services, and contribute to lasting community change. I hold a master’s in communication from Regis University and a bachelor’s in sociology and Spanish from Augustana University.Outside of work, I enjoy reading, hiking, baking, SUPing, cheering on the Colorado Rockies (I'm loyal, what can I say?), and relaxing at home with my husband and our adorable orange tabby cat.
