About Corwin Hoefling

I currently am working to continuing to just gain experience. I want to improve at all things and love to approach new unknown challenges to continue learning. I am studying for a few certificates and then will start studying for my licensure exams. I have found a passion for a strong community that helps one another and that has led me to develop a passion for healthcare and senior living design. But am willing to try anything and develop in any market. I started working with a professor on a research grant and we spent two years working with concepts such as evaporative cooling, carbon neutrality and other sustainable topics. During this time, we worked with one another to design and construct a bench on campus, we came up with an evaporative cooling and carbon neutral cabin concept, as well as testing these things to see if they did what we wanted them to do. We did that by collecting data, conducted calculations, and created scaled drawings. This is what first began my journey into sustainable architecture and green building.
