About Cory Abbe

I have over a decade of experience in the fields of Fire Protection and EMS. I have experience in both critical and non-critical care. Prior to entering the EMS field, I worked in customer service and construction. My knowledge and passion in Fire and EMS began when I was introduced to The local volunteer fire department where I live. Since the attacks on 9/11 I have found myself driven to help those around me and the Fire and EMS services have allowed me to do so. After 10.5 years on an ambulance I moved into Occupational Medicine with XStremeMD. I have since gained my Paramedic licensure in New Mexico and North Dakota as well as earning my Texas Radiological Technician license. I have undertaken many advanced training courses which allow me to suture, perform I&D procedures as well as many more RN and NP skills in my remote setting. In tandem with this career I also am the Head of Department for the Log Cabin Fire Department located in Henderson County, Texas. This department provides fire protection and first responder services for a 38 square mile area. I recently re-entered into the world of collegiate studies and in the process of completing my Associates Degree in EMS after which I plan to continue my education at Texas A&M and work toward my Bachelors Degree in Emergency Management. In addition to providing services to the general public, I noticed that costs of emergency lighting and vehicles were steadily on the rise and that no one catered to the small departments so in turn I started Thin Line Fleet Specialists, LLC to provide high quality equipment and emergency vehicles at an affordable price.
