As an ecologist and dedicated environmental professional, I use my background working with universities, government agencies and industry professionals to marry my knowledge of ecology with a growing understanding of Impact Assessment (IA) to facilitate the IA of proposed projects in the Canadian high Arctic. I currently work with a team of staunch individuals who are keen on fulfilling the mandate of the Nunavut Impact Review Board.Through my experience leading and collaborating with a broad range of colleagues, I have proven to be a patient, clear and effective communicator while servicing the goals of the team. I have demonstrated keen attention to detail while managing multiple concurrent projects and maintaining strong decision-making skills in fluid situations. As a solutions-oriented individual, I strive for a high degree of precision and accuracy while maintaining the utmost professionalism under high-pressure situations. I quickly and proactively learn new skills and programs without supervision to support the team as required.
