About Cory Barham

I am a cybersecurity professional and hold CompTIA Network+, Security+, CySA+, and PenTest+ certifications currently. I am currently working on my BS in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University. I have had experience working in IT as a member of the help desk at USAA, while also helping to validate their collaboration equipment to ensure proper functioning. Later, I joined Cerner Corporation as a member of the Desktop Support Team at Glens Falls Hospital, where I was responsible for providing technical assistance with end users. On that team, I got my hands on a wide array of different technologies, including hardware, software, network devices, O365 troubleshooting, Active Directory, and many more solutions. Currently, I work as a SOC analyst for Oracle Cerner, where I am responsible for the triage of various security events, conducting incident response, and utilizing various tools to conduct threat hunting. Cybersecurity is not just my career, but it is my passion, and I always try to find ways in which I can better support my organizations.
