About Cory Broughton

I’m a dedicated transit professional with over 6 years of combined experience in city bus operations and operator training. I began my career as a safe and dependable bus operator, and later advanced into a Bus Operator Training Instructor role, where I trained and mentored new drivers to uphold the highest standards of safety and customer service. My work has consistently focused on improving passenger satisfaction and operational efficiency. Currently, I’m furthering my education by pursuing an Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration and Accounting at Asher College. I serve as a Student Leadership Team member, where I support fellow students and assist instructors with daily classroom functions. I bring strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to every role I take on. Whether in a transportation setting or an administrative environment, I’m known for staying organized, leading by example, and developing solutions to business challenges. My goal is to transition into a supervisory or management role, where I can continue to support team growth and contribute to the future of public transit.
