About Cory Candelas

I am the owner of 11-10 Therapy, a clinical practice that focuses on treating first responders and their families. When your vocation routinely requires you to be there on the worst day of other people's lives, the effect of those accumulated events can sometimes leak into your own life and steal the joy that belongs to you and your family. 11-10 offers routine processing of work related stressors, recognizing and reducing stress and anxiety, trauma processing, and couples and family counseling. I am EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) trained and have seen the treatment provide symptom relief to many of my clients. I contract for TCTI (The Counseling Team International) and teach peer support and burnout and compassion fatigue courses. I also teach courses in Behavioral Science at California Baptist University. It is my goal to help encourage and strengthen first responders to enjoy their life in the midst of the difficulties of the job and help provide relief from all they are called to carry. The mission of 11-10 Therapy is to “help those who help others.”
