Cory launched his financial services career with the Vanguard Group in 2004 after graduating from the Lundquist College of Business. On January 9th, 2012, Cory was afforded the opportunity to join the Merrill family. He is extremely fortunate to call the majestic outdoors community of Central Oregon home. Over the years Cory's financial services practice has evolved to become national in scope, currently managing wealth in 38 states with emphasis on solving intricate and intellectually challenging planning cases for the affluent. Cory firmly believes that professional education builds a strong foundation for future success. His postgraduate coursework for the CFP® certification was completed through the prestigious planning program at Boston University. Total Industry designations and licenses include CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, CFP® professional, Certified Exit Planning Advisor CEPA®, FINRA Series 6,7,9,10,31,63,65 registrations, Oregon Life & Health and Registered Financial Advisor with the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA).*Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® and CFP® in the U.S.* Outside the office, Cory's biggest passions include backcountry & downhill skiing, biking and backpacking trips around the globe with my wife Dr. Caroline.
