Served as a Cryptologic Technician Interpretive (Arabic), last DLPT score 3/2/2, with follow on training in Iraqi. Hard worker and able leader open to new opportunities in the civilian sector.What makes me unique? As a student of foreign language for over 15 years, I have experience in Russian, German, and Arabic as well as strong cultural knowledge. I am highly competent in language acquisition and cultural relations. While serving in the Navy I gained a unique perspective on life and culture by traveling to places such as Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, and Japan. My cultural knowledge and military experience make me uniquely qualified to write on cultural, professional and military subjects. As a musician and music journalist I have a strong passion and ear for music and other arts. As a writer for a local office of a national website for music, I have experience in music previews/reviews/ concert write ups. My background in writing about the arts has given me a strong ability in creative and interesting writing. While pursuing my English degree focusing on writing, I have consistently earned high grades, and regularly received extremely positive feedback from instructors. I have a strong command over the English language which enables me to write in an above average manner in nearly any type of writing although I have a passion for creative writing. I have a strong work ethic and dedication to the art of writing. My goal is to build myself as a writer and to consistently put out the highest quality writing for clients. I am a very diverse individual and a life long student. I value compassion for others just as much as I value knowledge and wisdom. I am currently finishing my masters and hope to word toward a phd.
