I started with Walgreens as an Assistant Store Manager in I earned a promotion to an Executive Assistant Store Manager September, 2001. Multiple times, I managed stores in the absence of a Store Manager and flourished. In April 2004, I was promoted to Store Manager. I have opened over 10 new stores and have led multiple buy-outs throughout my career. I was entrusted with a 24 hour, high volume store in March 2010 where I have been for the last 8 years. I have managed up to 60 employees including retail sales associates, retail management, pharmacy technicians, pharmacists, and pharmacy managers. • Career devoted to coaching and mentoring others while maintaining autonomy and consistency. I have consciously created a culture that reflects the mission and values of our organization as a whole with both employees and customers/patients. • Managed rural, urban, and 24-hour stores. • Opened multiple new stores and managed multiple buy-outs efficiently. • Currently running both the highest volume store and highest prescription volume store in my district. • Coach, mentor, and develop staff including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities. I have had the opportunity to work with two Assistant Store Managers and develop them into Store Managers. I have also developed talent within my store that has led to leadership positions. • Manage the overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and activities of the store. • I am the district lead in inventory control and coach other store managers on how to achieve proper inventory levels. I have had the opportunity to instruct seminars for future store managers regarding inventory and its importance.
