About Cory Ramsey

As a Software Services Engineer at Revvity, I apply my biomedical engineering background and skills to resolve urgent software support items for newborn screening software. I generate SQL queries to correct issues with the screening process and patient data, and write and submit reports through SAP to document quality complaints for FDA regulation. I also communicate with customers to ensure efficient and complete problem resolution, and address their long-term needs and document changes according to validation procedures. I graduated from The University of Akron in May 2023 with a degree in Biomedical Engineering, specializing in Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering. My proudest accomplishments were being honored with the Engineering Trajectory Award and the Hunter Award for Community Leadership and Service for my academic and extracurricular achievements. I was also honored for my role in designing, fabricating, and validating a Neonatal Intraocular Injection and Delivery System, which won the Honors Biomedical Engineering Design Day Competition at UA. I am always seeking to embrace new ideas and improve my current skills and understanding of a subject, and I am passionate about applying engineering solutions to improve human health and well-being.
