I have over 18 years of Medical Billing, Credentialing, experience working as Office\Billing Manager for small practices, group practices and non-profits. This experience provides me with an excellent understanding of the entire process, how it effects the financials and the day to day operations for many different kinds of providers. My time at Bioscrip, a national specialty pharmacy at the time, as an Account Representative gave me extensive experience in dealing with Insurance Companies and Medicaids from all over the nation, resolving claims issues and collecting patient balances. Taking the position as a Billing Systems Supervisor with the Courage Center, a non-profit rehabilitation center, I gained an intricate knowledge of Medical Billing Software & Systems. Working as an Office\Billing Manager for the Buffalo Clinic, a Group Practice and Specialized Treatment Services, Inc, Chemical Dependency Treatment Facility, I was able to not only expand my knowledge and experience with billing software & systems and patient & insurance collections, but it also provided me the opportunity to learn what it takes to a run a successful practice/business.
