About Cory Wagner
I am the Owner and Lead Designer of DumpTruckdesign, a design firm that specializes in sustainable design and fabrication of furniture, fixtures and architectural design elements. I aim to redefine our notion of sustainability, focusing on sound design and material usage that is balanced with longevity and function. I am a former Research Faculty member at the University of Houston in the School of Art and helped found the Mica in NY Summer Intensive program for undergraduate and graduate students, and am proud of the experience gained from these positions. I consider every situation to be a learning experience despite any difficulties I might face. I can only strive to grow, personally and intellectually, along the way. Specialties: My areas of expertise range from project and business management to traditional wood, metal, and plastics fabrication as well as digital skills in CAD, Adobe Suite, video editing, sound installation, and critical theory. In my current role, I perform interior design, furniture design and fabrication, amongst the other many management duties owning a business entails.
