About Coston Daugherty

I am a passionate educator and designer with over 18 years of experience in the science classroom, both face-to-face and online. I love to personalize learning to meet the accessibility needs of any student. I have extensive experience in the online classroom, both instructing and designing, as well as in the Professional learning arena. I enjoy working with K-12 and adult learners in the online learning environment. Some of my professional skills include: • Expertise in Science Content (all curriculum areas), course creation and revision • Personalizing education for all student needs in the science classroom. Meetings accessibility needs (508 and ADA compliance) • Research in technology tools, education theories and leadership in online education. I have working knowledge of Articulate and expert knowledge in different LMS (moodle, blackboard and canvas). • Designing, developing, revising and implementing online courses using various instructional design methods and models including UDL and ADDIE. • Instructing Adult Professional Learning courses for teachers interested in online education and working within a Learning Management System.
