As an Associate Computational Biologist at Pathos, I work with a team of scientists and engineers to develop and optimize novel 3D cell culture platforms and assays for drug discovery and personalized medicine applications. I leverage my skills in bioinformatics, data analysis, and molecular biology to interpret data and to identify key biological insights and actionable recommendations that drive optimal platform or assay design and refinement. I am passionate about learning and advancing my skillset in the evolving field of bioinformatics, and I am currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Bioinformatics at The Johns Hopkins University. I have a solid foundation in microbiology, chemistry, and laboratory skills, acquired through my Bachelor's degree from Weber State University and my previous work and research experiences. I also have a demonstrated history of conducting and presenting undergraduate research projects, using CRISPR Cas-9 and enterovirus structural mutations as my topics. I am a forward-thinking, creative, and dependable professional, who enjoys collaborating with others and tackling challenges that pave the way for innovative and sustainable solutions.
