About Courtney Yoder

I was Miss Edwardsburg/ Miss Congeniality 2016 through my year of service; I have gained new connections, friends, and value of community. I had multiple interviews with going to compete in the Blossomtime festival. I have lost my fear of speaking out in front of thousands of people with this experience and learning of to be a leader and representing my community. With many jobs I have taught gymnastics. This had me create lesson plans, teach ages 3-18, and learned to be patient, positive, and safe when learning new skills. I have also gained the time management with learning to go from one event to another and working around my life. I have also worked in the service industry as a waitress. This has taught me to deal with unsatisfied customers, working hard to bring the best service and a great time. Then with any situation that happened I maintained a smile and worked hard and fast through the busy hours. I currently work at a retail store as a cashier. Being known as one of the last impressions a guest may have and giving them the best service I can. I can return and re-sell merchandise. Help guest find their needs and wants around the store for their projects.
