About Craig Barton

I began my career with Sandia Neuromonitoring in 2011 where I learned principals of neurophysiology and its application during spine surgery. Sandia was soon acquired by NuVasive Inc, I remained employed, and my job description did not change. Due to a move to a different region of the country, I then took a role as a neurophysiologist with Impulse Monitoring (2012) with the foreknowledge that NuVasive had plans to also acquire Impulse. Prior to the Impulse acquisition by NuVasive, I applied for and won the role as a clinical associate in Savannah, Georgia (2014). Job responsibilities included everything I preformed previously as a neurophysiologist with the additional task requirements of a sales associate. This included monthly educational and new product development training, time management revolving around varies individuals and entities schedules, inventory management, and financial recording and reporting. In 2017 I changed titles to a Sales Specialist only for the benefit of compensation classification in the view of my company (salary compensation to 100% commission based). Most recently, NuVasive was acquired by Globus Medical. Once again, I remain employed as a sale specialist with all the same task requirement.Operational Skills- Transportaion, maintenance, in-service troubleshooting of medical equipment- Communication among various departments to funnel information into completing my task at hand-storage, inventory, risk assessment for disposable equipmentClerical Skills- preparing and submitting accurate orders according with current contract agreements-receiving, reviewing, and approving purchase orders from multiple sources- maintaining accreditation and monthly on-line education requirements-Microsoft Office
