About Craig Berry

Craig Berry Craig Berry is an entrepeneur with a passion for advanced engineering, science and technology. Craig began working with CN Rail in 1977. In 1980 he was promoted to the position of Locomotive Enigineer. For over 20 years he operated some of the worlds longest, heaviest, and most powerful freight trains into the Rocky Mountains west of Edmonton. In the latter part of his career, Craig joined the team implementing Distributed Power,(radio telemetry remote control locomotives), on the CN system, utilized the Trip Optimizer computerized train control system, and trained many young Locomotive Engineers. Craig retired from CN in 2012. In addition to responsibilities with CN, Craig continued his education, attending NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology), graduating the Automotive Technician programme as a journyman with highest achievment awards. Craig has been incorparated since 1987 and from 2013 to 2020 operated a sucessful automotive business. As the COVID19 pandemic changed the world, Craig changed careers. He is now with Universal Rail Operations. Hockey has always been an important part of Craig`s life, and he continues to play in the G.H.L.( Geezer Hockey League). This man is a guitarist in a garage band, a songwriter, pianist, dreamer, visionary, and innovator. It would take Mr. Berry many hours to list his accomplishments and attibutes, his best trait is not doing so. Craig lives in Edmonton, Alberta, with his wife Dawna. They have three adult children and two Grandchildren.
