About Craig Blackman

Craig is a successful and driven leader with broad experience in the not-for-profit community sector having undertaken senior roles in:+ Disability Accommodation, Support, Training and Employment;+ Child Safety and Out of Home Care;+ Advocacy and Legal Rights; and + in the provision of high level advice to Government. He has been proactively engaged on the Boards and Committees of numerous Community Organisations and Peak Industry Bodies. Recognition of his work has led to his involvement in Government advisory groups, committees and inquiries and the management of specialized Government projects. He has been involved as a judge in the QLD Premier’s Awards for Excellence and the Prime Minister’s Employer of the Year Awards (for people with a disability). His strong commitment to the ongoing improvement of the lives of people with disability and other disadvantaged groups is supported and realised through ongoing training, studies and qualifications in community, disability, business and strategic planning.
