About Craig Dedels

I am a seasoned community planner with experience working for governments, public sector institutions, and private businesses. I have a holistic understanding of climate change and sustainability issues, with a focus on climate risk and resilience. My professional journey includes a wealth of experience in resilience planning for the healthcare sector. I played a pivotal role in developing the pioneering Climate Resilience Guidelines for BC Health Facility Planning & Design. Over the years, I have been actively involved in numerous new construction and redevelopment projects for healthcare facilities. I have both represented the health authorities and served as an integral part of design teams bringing resilient design objectives to life. Serving the Lower Mainland health organizations, I strive to balance technical risk management processes with engagement and partnership building. Together, we can advance low carbon resilience throughout the healthcare system, and move towards a more sustainable and resilient future. All opinions expressed are my own.
