About Craig Dunn

Geologist, Entrepreneur, Energy fanatic and advocate for sustainable development, Craig Dunn is always open to change for the better. He lives by the idea that “Make beautiful ideas reality and the world will follow”. He was a 2016 finalist for EY Entrepreneur of the Year for the Prairies. He is the co-founder of multiple organizations in a variety of fields, including geopower exploration, technology and social good. As a father of two, he is always thinking of the world that we are leaving for the next generation.Always pursuing innovate projects, Mr. Dunn spent years working on many early stage oilfield exploration programs all over Western Canada. With a passion for renewable energy, he moved on to work on geothermal exploration projects in the US and Canada with some of the first public geothermal companies in Canada. Mr. Dunn was one of key personnel involved with the resurgence of the Canadian Geothermal Energy Association (CanGEA), which led him to his role as founder and Chief Geologist with Borealis Geopower. He is considered one of the leading experts and pioneers in geothermal energy exploration and development initiatives in Canada. Mr. Dunn and his company WellDunn Exploration supply both project management and scientific expertise for mineral, energy and technology companies in Canada and globally. Always interested in new ideas and meeting innovators in the energy space, Mr. Dunn was the entertaining host for the monthly social event "Energy Beers Nights". Mr. Dunn most recently stepped into the CEO role with PEAK Geothermal Energy, developing global geothermal energy projects.
