I am a twenty year Royal Australian Air Force Aviator with. My career has seen me operate across the globe both in conflict zones and in support of ongoing operations, recently culminating in recognition by the United States military for meritorious service in the field of global missile warning.Groups of people achieving success is what drives me. I thrive on us achieving outcomes stemming from thought, planning and strategy.I have- Achieved selection as first international partner to fulfill role of Operations Superindendent within the United States' premier missile warning squadron- Designed, communicated and overseen plan for division of forces amongst two missile warning squadrons to bring about more efficient services- Mentored US and coalition personnel in space based infrared operations- Utilised data driven approach to design staffing plan for over 70 peopleI will- Lead by example, bringing about an atmosphere of trust and confidence from those around me- Aim high, seeking betterment in individuals and of the outputs from the organisation- Respect and care for those who I am entrusted to lead as well as those who guide me- Actively seek avenues for success, both personally and within the group at large- Open lines of communication within and external to the organisation- Identify and nurture relevant stakeholders, valuing opinions and providing feedback- Back up the above words with action, maintaining accountability and working to understand the root cause to problems.
