About Craig Gordon

As a highly-motivated and results orientated technical engineer/professional services consultant within the IT technical, managed services and unified communications sector, I have a proven track record of providing exemplary levels of service to a broad range of clients, utilising Microsoft Server applications, Cisco UCS, ISP NOC monitoring, Microsoft Server Administration, Voice over IP implementation/support, Virtualisation, Managed Private/Public Cloud and Datacentre support. During my current employment I have undertaken the role of Service Delivery Engineer for one of the biggest accounts, utilising my skillset to maintain and manage sterling levels of customer support. At present I have learnt several Microsoft/VMware/Cisco/Juniper/NetApp products from out of the box which prompted me to obtain the Microsoft MCSA Server 2012 qualification along with several other MCITP and MCP qualifications and with a view to gaining several Cisco and Juniper related certifications in the future. Whilst working through current projects I have identified and created opportunities via sales enablement within our client base. During these projects/implementations, I attended project meetings, organised and implemented planned periods of work and communicated and worked alongside third parties. Utilising excellent communication skills, I developed and maintained successful working relationships with both internal and external parties.Currently incorporating capacity management report presentation to allow customers to greater understand utilisation and usage within a managed estate and developing growth opportunities when an environment expands quickly. Also giving customer benefits within a lifecycle and vulnerability arena. Leading to hardware refreshes and security update planning to lower the environmental risk. Also collaborating with customers to complete a journey into the cloud in order to move forward growth and development as well as assisting with Op Ex & Cap Ex.Looking (only when available to do so) to secure a position in a company that is growing and developing in the key skill areas I can utilise based on my experience, where I can bring immediate and technical value and develop current skill sets further along with a challenge to develop and grow in new and exciting skill areas.
