About Craig Hammer

As lifelong Newton resident, I have spent much of my early years working in sales and marketing. In 1989, I started Hammer Graphics, a commercial printing company. Later I sold the company in 2001 to begin my journey into real estate, building and selling spec homes in Newton. I believe the construction process has so many parallels to printing; they both start with a concept that morphs into a design which is constructed to result in the finished product. Passionate about development and the local real estate market, my wife Fern and I opened Hammer Residential, an independent real estate brokerage in 2007. In 2016, we joined Unlimited Sotheby's International Realty to align with a locally owned company with the power and global reach of the Sotheby's International Brand. When I'm not engaged with clients I can be found walking the city, golfing or firing up the grill on a nice day. I am also the Vice President of the Board of Directors of Beth Menachen Chabad.
