At my core as a Manager, I recognize that we're stronger together than in isolation. I understand the importance of trust and psychological safety for a team to be able to innovate and build high quality solutions, without fear of making mistakes. I am an advocate for my team, and I place a high priority on helping them succeed and advance in their own careers while still ensuring we meet our delivery expectations together. I always push myself and my team toward growth and improvement, while maintaining a balance of keeping the working environment positive, engaging, and enjoyable. I am a driven individual who thrives on quality and improvement of anything that I am involved with. I believe strongly that a team will perform well if they are treated well, they enjoy their work and their co-workers, and they can work on engaging and meaningful activities. I work hard to bring these things together on any team I am a part of. As a Software Development Manager at Article, I helped to build top quality software that not only delighted our customers by discussing their needs and delivering solutions to meet these needs, but also improving their KPIs (~ 15% improvement in OSA and DSI through use of the Foresight project), reducing spending (~$0.7M savings with use of same Foresight project), and increasing ROI (through working on an integration forecasted to have an $8-10M ROI over 3 years, and improving Forecast accuracy by ~20%). Beyond my current vocation within Software Development Management, I have expertise in a wide breadth of domains within the industry including- Hands-on Software Development and Tech Leading projects to ensure successful implementations and delivery goals were met with high quality results - Project Management (working with key stakeholders to define scope, estimates, and timelines for top customer projects such as Cricket Communications, and then successfully delivering on these requirements)- Quality Assurance Management, where I established automated testing and load testing practices to high-profile customers such as Jaguar/Land Rover, and managed hiring and mentoring a team of Automation Developers
