About Craig Kunce

I am a teacher. I have helped thousands of technical college students learn and develop their skills, talents, abilities, and personalities throughout my career. I’ve helped them nurture their passions and grow as people. My students are nineteen-year-olds fresh from high school, thirty-somethings looking to change careers, middle-aged workers who have lost their jobs, and everyone in between. I strive to provide them with the graphic design, web design, illustration, and video skills they need to start their careers. I try to help them to be the proud people they deserve to be. Proud people who can earn a living for themselves and provide for their families.• I am also an art director and designer in the classroom. I specialize in helping my students learn to communicate a message visually to an audience. I have found the most success throughout my career by listening to everyone’s ideas and needs and then helping to create a focused visual message that engages an audience.• I am also closely involved with the marketing of our graphic design program. I participate in photo and video shoots that share our program’s values with prospective students and our surrounding communities. I also market our program directly to students, families, employers, and the community with tours, presentations, seminars, tutorials, and creating marketing material.• Six years of management and leadership experience with up to fifteen direct reports.• In-depth, professional experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, HTML, CSS, and WordPress.• Active YouTube and Rumble content creator. 120 tutorials and counting. I mainly create learning content for my classes and practice my graphic design, video editing, and After Effects skills.• Active web designer. I currently design, update and maintain three websites (250+ total pages).• Active illustrator working in digital media, pen-and-ink, and watercolor. Author and illustrator of several (16+) self-published children's picture and chapter books.
