Background
About Craig Latimir
As the Trust Lead for Mathematics at Creative Education Trust, I work with a network of 16 schools to develop and implement a high-quality mathematics curriculum that enables all students to achieve their full potential. I have over a decade of experience in education in various contexts, from international schools to inner-city academies, and have lead departments to achieve some of the highest progress scores in the country. My core competencies include designing and delivering effective professional development, coaching and mentoring maths teachers, analysing and using data to inform practice, and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. I hold a Master of Science in Education from the University of Oxford. I am passionate about the life-transforming power of mathematics education and the hard work that it takes to instill those principles into every lesson. My aim is to inspire and empower the next generation of mathematicians, problem-solvers, and critical thinkers.
