About Craig Luzinski

Making a difference in the lives of those I lead, coach, mentor and serve. My journey in healthcare began at the age of 12 when I was hospitalized with bilateral pneumonia. During my ten-day stay, I had the privilege of meeting two respiratory therapists who not only aided in my recovery but also left a lasting mark on my career path. While connecting over sports games on the in-room TV, they shared insights into their profession, igniting a desire within me to pursue a job in healthcare. Reflecting on my journey, I attribute my career choice to the connection I formed with those compassionate and dedicated RTs. Their influence inspired my passion for healthcare, shaping not only my professional trajectory but also my leadership style. Today, as a seasoned healthcare leader, I lead with the same empathy and compassion that first drew me to this field. Complementing those qualities are the important leadership skills of strategic thinking, utilizing a collaborative team-based approach, and a commitment to continuous learning. I am confident that these attributes, honed over years of experience, position me as a valuable asset to any healthcare organization's leadership team. Top performance demands diligence and resilience. As a disciplined leader, I commit myself to optimizing the processes, envisioning the best outcomes, and achieving organizational excellence. Analytical by nature, I regularly gather facts, conduct research, compare alternative resources and methods, and then prioritize efforts using a decision matrix. This decision matrix is located in my office, visible for all to see and to identify true priorities. For me, learning is foundational to my approach to life and work.
