About Craig Mayer

With 25+ years experience importing and working with fine wines, spirits and beers (with an emphasis on brand development, sales, marketing, and supply chain optimization), Craig is working to establish Vinovium Partners as the premiere supplier of premium wine in 20-liter / 5.2 gallon kegs in Texas (and selected other markets in the US). He will continue supporting The Texas Wine and Food Consortium (and The Texas Wine Journal) as the primary vehicle for educating consumers and the trade (both in and outside of Texas) about the rapidly-growing capabilities of the Texas wine industry. By producing exciting educational events ("Texas vs. the World") and professional blind wine evaluations, the Consortium will showcase Texas wines to domestic and international audiences, emphasizing and promoting Texas' emerging world-class wines, wineries and growers. Specialties: Craig has excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills and has been a PMP-certified project management professional for many years. He has extensive skills in business development and management, operational and supply chain effectiveness, and deployment of technology for leading edge business marketing and promotion.
