Initially in software development, before moving onto pre-press production and specialising in establishing and developing production workflows. From 1994-2018 I owned and managed Palimpsest Book Production Ltd- the UK's leading supplier of pre-press and digital services to many leading publishers and their bestselling authors. In August 2018 I transitioned Palimpsest to Employee Ownership. I stepped down as Managing Director and from the day-to-day running of the business in 2020. I remain on the board in a strategic and part time capacity.
