About Craig Overlock

Craig Overlock has more than two decades' experience in executive recruiting, and specializes in the consumer industries, particularly the food sector. He has conducted over 300 assignments for high level R&D, quality, financial, marketing, sales, human resources and general management positions for some of America’s best–known companies. Mr. Overlock's executive recruiting experience was honed at top level, global strategy / management consulting and executive search firms. His earlier career included managing talent procurement for the R&D / supply chain organization of a worldwide consumer products manufacturer. He also designed and presented assessment and coaching tools to managers and executives. Mr. Overlock earned a Master’s degree from the Institute of Industrial Relations (Loyola University of Chicago), with a concentration in organization design and development. He served as President of the Institute’s alumni board from 1993-1995. His current professional memberships include the Institute of Food Technologists and the International Association for Food Protection; he is also a Past President of the Southern California affiliate of the IAFP. Mr. Overlock's recent civic activities include serving as President of the Mont Calabasas Association, and as Vice President of the Las Virgenes Federation, a consortium of more than two dozen community organizations dedicated to controlled development and preserving the Santa Monica Mountains wilderness. Personal interests include classical, acoustic and electric guitar, physical conditioning, mountain hiking, and military history.
