LEADERSHIP PROBLEM SOLVING RESULTS I am passionate about equitable access to healthcare. The biggest challenge facing small and mid-sized health clinics today is delivering the highest quality healthcare in a high-turnover staffing environment. I am effective at confronting major challenges head-on, such as working quickly to identify gaps in reporting, and auditing hundreds of patient records for missing documentation, then working to identify solutions to bring the organization into compliance. LEADERSHIP: Implemented and supported health services strategy and goals at the regional and local level, including patient volume, productivity, revenue, expense, margin, and customer service. PROBLEM-SOLVING: Reviewed monthly revenue and expense reports with clinic managers to identify trends and gaps in staffing hours, time coding, and patient volumes. RESULTS: On-target financial outcomes for the region in 2021 and 2022. Met or exceeded staff retention goals in six out of seven sites. LEADERSHIP: Led a workgroup to identify priority staff engagement projects based on Press-Gainey employee satisfaction survey results, and then led individual project plans to improve overall staff engagement across seven regional clinics. PROBLEM-SOLVING: Reviewed monthly metrics and drove understanding and education about individual employee actions that contributed to improved results. RESULTS: 100% on-target survey outcome scores across the region, with two sites achieving over 95% satisfaction ratings. LEADERSHIP: Built successful teams that felt supported, happy, and comfortable in their jobs. PROBLEM-SOLVING: Interventional coaching at low-performing sites to effect improved communication, collaboration, and management effectiveness.
