About Craig Seiler

I am a passionate and results-driven Software Engineer and Project Manager. With a diverse background in both fields, I thrive on exploring the ever-evolving landscape of technology and cybersecurity. I am finishing a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland Global Campus. Currently, I am the Operations Manager at the US Army, where I oversee the operational office and coordinate the planning and execution of my organizations objectives and requirements. I have core competencies in data literacy, automation, software development, and cloud integration. In my recent roles, I have leveraged my skills in Gitlab, software documentation, and structured documentation to develop, support, and improve various software projects and processes. I have also initiated and managed training programs, knowledge management products, and specialized development teams, resulting in increased productivity, data accuracy, and software capability. I am motivated by the opportunity to use my expertise in cloud integration and data literacy to enable and empower the Army's software development mission. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as I have worked in different locations, units, and roles within the Army. I have experience in developing software using C and Python, as well as reading/writing/patching software in x86, MIPS and and some ARM assembly languages.
