About Craig Thomson

Craig has more than 25 years’ experience in senior executive roles with sector experience in manufacturing, logistics, energy, telecommunications and fast moving consumer goods. Craig’s human resources expertise spans industrial relations, health and safety, remuneration, culture and leadership, succession and talent management. For the last 10 years he has held Chief HR Officer roles at Essential Energy and DP World, and previously held executive roles at Coca-Cola Amatil and Optus Telecommunications. While working at DP World and Coca-Cola Amatil Craig supported businesses and was a trusted advisor to leadership teams in UAE, New Zealand, PNG, Fiji and Indonesia. Having such diverse industry experience across complex businesses has meant that Craig has developed a strong strategic and pragmatic approach to delivering tailored people strategies in fast paced changing business environments. This has included creating and implementing impactful and sustainable solutions in- Managing large scale organisational change during business transformation requiring organisational design and assessing capability requirements, restructuring, assessing remuneration structure to deliver targeted business outcomes, drive improvements to HR system and process - Managing industrial/employee relations in industries with large blue collar workforces.
