I am a strong people manager who believes in the power of teamwork and understands the importance of developing high-performing and seasoned talent. In order to inspire a team, you must lead by example and use compassionate management. I also understand that you can't do it alone and understand that cross-functional teams with smart research and industry-specific insights and trends will get you to your end goal much quicker as a squad. And when you mix that with my ability to build relationships and develop trust at the highest level through integrity, there is no room for failure. I was blessed to begin my career learning inside one of the top sports & entertainment brands in the world (National Football League). I have had the ability to grow my network significantly in the Bay Area leading the Sales, Marketing and Thought Leadership programming at an organization that represents all business in one of the most innovative cities in the world (San Francisco Chamber of Commerce). I have been on the founding team of a SaaS tech startup focused on innovation (Oceana). I understand consultative selling after having worked for 3 global marketing agencies in my career (GMR, TBA, XYZ) focused on professional services. I have shown a continued investment in the local community in overseeing one of the Bay Area’s most recognizable and successful annual charity events (John Madden and Steve Mariucci’s “Battle of the Bay” Charity Bocce Tournament). I have sat on many management and non-profit Boards (SF Travel Association, Fisherman’s Wharf CBD and Merchant’s Association) and have a solid educational backbone (Lake Forest College and MBA at University of Michigan).
