About Cristian C.

My work in almost twenty years in IT has been varied. I covered different roles from providing first-level support to acting in the role of architect and IT manger delivering solutions and managing projects for the largest organizations and corporations in my country. At the moment I’m working as Escalation Engineer in Microsoft Italy working with customers and partner’s from all over the world. In this role I contribute to handle escalated issues that involve Microsoft’s most technically complex, critical or politically sensitive support situations even interacting with the senior executives and management and collaborating with our Product Group. This using mostly code level techniques, trace & source code analysis, debugging tools, instrumentation, reverse engineering techniques & other sophisticated diagnostic tools used in software creation & debugging to investigate unknown issues. I handle or participate in projects created to manage, monitor, develop and improve our EMEA delivery unit business. I create, review and deliver proactive services like advisories, supportability reviews, health checks, workshops and technical trainings. I'm also a Microsoft Certified Trainer part of the MS In-Unit Trainers Group that is responsible to train Engineers across EMEA and to develop their technical and soft skills also providing coaching and mentoring.
