About Cristina Codignotto

The result of my training and professional experience is to assist the progression of a person's potential by intervening directly with them in the various spheres of their development. I have learned that in any age group, the needs of the person are at the heart of any intervention. I am a firm believer that everyone, no matter the difficulties faced, has the capacity for growth and development to better their everyday situation and I strive to find the means that enables them to do so. I pride myself to being a creative and dynamic professional. I am presently working in a specialized program for adults with severe mental health disorders focussing on recovery and rehabilitation. I also have years of experience with seniors diagnosed with dementia\Alzheimer's. I have worked with children aged 0-5 and their parents in an early stimulation program and have had opportunities to work with school aged children whom have disabilities or difficulties in and out of the school setting. I have a Bachelor's degree in Human Relations and a DEC in Special Care Counselling.
