About Cristina Sin

I am an assistant professor at Universidade Lusófona and a researcher at the Interdisciplinary Research Centre for Education and Development (CeiED). My interest areas are higher education policy; internationalisation, employability; equity in higher education and quality assurance/ enhancement. Recently I coordinated a research project on the recruitment of international students in Portuguese higher education institutions and I am part of the ENIS network on International Student Mobility. My past experience involves research roles with the Portuguese Agency for the Assessment and Accreditation of Higher Education and the Centre for Research in Higher Education Policies (CIPES) in Portugal. Previously I was involved in the management of educational projects in the areas of learning and teaching at the Higher Education Academy in the UK. I was awarded a PhD in Educational Research (Lancaster University) investigating national implementations and adaptations of the Bologna Process in the area of master degrees. I also hold a BA in Applied Languages (English and French) from Babes-Bolyai University in Romania and an MA in English and French from Roskilde University in Denmark.
