About Crysta Robinson

Crysta is currently the Assistant Center Education Coordinator for CAPRW Headstart Program in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She is a graduate from The University of Montana with Master's in Education in Early Childhood Education and she is a diploma-certified teacher with ACECQA in Australia. She places a large emphasis on the pyramid model approach of social-emotional development in young children and is excellent at finding creative ways to interact with the children in her care. She started her higher education by obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with an emphasis in performance and costume design from The University of North Dakota. She has spent 10 years working with children in various capacities including working with many children of special needs and who have expereinced high trauma. The last five have been spent working in headstart and early headstart programs in The United States. She has also spent time working in childcare centers in Sydney, Australia. She has worked in rural, urban, and suburban early childhood education centers. She hopes to one day make a global impact in the lives of children by expanding her work to more early childhood education outside of The United States. Her ultimate goal and main focus is to work in a positive, caring environment that gives her the freedom to explore the world around her through the eyes of the kids she works with.
