About Crystal Dandy

Human resources is a strange thing to be passionate about, but that I am. Throughout my career, I have often been asked,"Thinking of your passions, what is the job you would do for free?". Well, I never liked that question. I think we should all be compensated for our efforts and what we bring to the table. I began to ask myself,"What am I driven to study? Where can I learn and grow? What can keep me engaged and hungry for professional development?". I found that passion in human resources. I believe that HR is important to industry, because it keeps the life-blood of organizations (employees) informed and equipped to face day to day challenges. I have experienced HR from the outside and the inside. I know that sometimes the department is misunderstood and sometimes feared by employees. I want to be a part of an accessible team. One that encourages employees development both personally and professionally. One that has gained the trust and respect of the greater team. I will also accept a challenge to help create that environment with a team that is struggling to connect. My interpersonal skills have been praised in past positions, as well as my attention to detail, and adaptability. I look forward to connecting with human resources professionals for networking and job growth.
