With over 10 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, I am a passionate and results-oriented leader who strives to deliver excellence in category analysis and strategy. As the Director of Category Leadership at Advantage Solutions, I oversee and optimize the product or service categories to achieve strategic goals, while bridging the gap between category leadership, sales, marketing, and other functions to maximize category and company performance. I am driven by the mission of helping our clients grow their brands and market share, and I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, having worked in various roles and functions across the industry. In my most recent role as the Category Manager II at Advantage Solutions, I worked directly with assigned clients' Brand/Marketing teams to provide direction around shopper insight, brand development, and promotional opportunities. I leveraged the customer shopper loyalty program platform to extract and organize data for insight-driven presentations, and I developed creative presentations with an eye toward storytelling, focused on flow, visualizations, headlines, and using Company Branding Guidelines. I also participated in new client interviews as a shopper loyalty program subject matter expert (SME), and I contributed to the Business Development department's growth and success. Some of the skills that I applied and enhanced in this role include category analysis, sales operations, strategic thinking, and business intelligence.
