About Crystal Goodwin

Some would say I'm a life coach, except I don't tell people how to live, I inspire them to do so. Not everyone saves the company millions with their cool new innovation or perhaps I've been humbled and can't think of an achievement worth writing about. I do know what I have done that have made me the person I am today. In Natasha Bedingfield's song,"Unwritten", she urges her listeners to "release their inhibitions". This mantra has pushed me to do great things. I do the action that intrigues me and give it my all while doing so. It pushes me to live life fearlessly and do the things others are afraid to do. While in college, I was involved in almost every organization. I went on to take leadership roles at three - at the same time. I also was on a dance team and a step team simultaneously. Many people did not support this and felt I wouldn't be able to balance my time. I wanted to show them that it's possible to do it all and do it well. I worked tirelessly and made each organization feel like the only organization. I was even named one of the best performers for each of my teams. People would often approach me to express their admiration for the passion I had for whatever I was involved in. It gave them the urge to do more. Their words inspired me to continue to live life unapologetically in hopes that I inspire many more. At my current job, I am the considered the "voice" for the employees. I am not afraid to communicate to the higher ups the good and the bad of our establishment and have provided solutions to areas we fall short. My sophisticated writing style and dauntless approach to addressing our shortcomings has given me the opportunity for a promotion. It has even inspired other employees to be able to express their own ideas. I have done some pretty amazing things in my life, but so far, helping others realize their potential is my biggest accomplishment yet.
